Hey Clawson! We've had a very busy month and as we prepare for finals, we just want to remind everyone about the upcoming Ugly Sweater Party next weekend at Western Lodge. It is a time for us to come together and de-stress while finals begin to loom over us. Official dates and times are Saturday, December 10th, from 7 to 9:30 PM. Come join us for a night of fun!

We had a very busy end of October and November. Right before Halloween, we made a nice amount of money at our bake sale (all items donated by Clawson residents!). We also celebrated Días de los Muertos during our last October C3 Meeting with special bread from Eric Leon's family's restaurant.

November got busy as well, while we participated in the TWLOHA Fears vs. Dreams project and made hand turkeys. We also spent a meeting decorating aprons for the Alexander cooks, thanking them in our many languages for all their effort and time put into our food! The Clawson Beginner Women's Broomball team won the championship and we also had a Dance Marathon team that danced the day away. Many of us also attended the Saturday show of Diwali and then took the bus to Jungle Jim's to get food for International Thanksgiving, which we put on with Thomson Hall.

International Thanksgiving was a big success--we had food from a variety of cultures. Traditional American Thanksgiving was represented, as well as food from China, Germany, France, Poland, Costa Rica, Hungary, and many more. It was incredibly delicious for those who attended and there was a point when so many people showed up we ran out of plates! Props go to Laura from Clawson, who headed the event and worked hard to make it a success.

At our last November meeting, we had a speaker from the Outdoor Pursuits center, courtesy of Sarah Meaney. We are now trying to formulate more adventurous outings for us this coming spring!

Upcoming events, apart from the Ugly Sweater Party, are Gingerbread House Making at our first December C3 meeting on Monday! Also, on Saturday, many of us will be attending the RHA formal, so if anyone is interested in coming, we will be leaving at from the Clawson Lobby.

For those who are going to Festival of Lights, meet in front of Clawson before five. THE BUS LEAVES AT FIVE.

Cheers!
